New Fungicide Will Force Control of Foliar Diseases in Multiple Crops With 3 Effective Active Ingredients; Will Bolster Plant Health and Yield Potential

INDIANAPOLIS — Corteva today announced the upcoming launch of Forcivo fungicide, which tackles corn and soybean foliar diseases with three effective active ingredients: flutriafol, azoxystrobin and fluindapyr. Pending registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Forcivo fungicide will help shield crops with overlapping preventive and curative activity while controlling multiple diseases like tar spot, southern rust and frogeye leaf spot.

“Forcivo fungicide will give growers a powerful disease management tool that bolsters plant health, pushes yield potential and manages disease resistance,” said Mike Eiberger, U.S. Marketing Leader, Corteva . “With the help of Forcivo fungicide, growers will be able to maximize their return on investment (ROI) and grow more yield potential.”

A force to be reckoned with, Forcivo fungicide will offer these key benefits:

  • Triple-action forces foliar disease control. Forcivo fungicide will feature three  modes of action against destructive foliar disease. Working to guard crops from disease, Forcivo fungicide will be a convenient premix that growers can apply to strengthen their disease and resistance management plans. Additionally, multiple modes of action will help ensure that if a disease is less susceptible to one key ingredient, others will help control the threat.
  •  Multiple Row Crop Disease Flexibility. For farmers growing multiple crops or combating multiple fungal infections, Forcivo fungicide will provide broad-spectrum control of many of the toughest diseases on not only corn and soybeans but also wheat, barley, sorghum and triticale. Growers will be able to use Forcivo fungicide to effectively manage challenging diseases that return year after year and easily spread to other uninfected fields.
  • Bolster plant health and yield potential. The fungicide will empower farmers to grow healthy crops that can deliver higher yield potential and increased revenue per acre. The three active ingredients and up to 30-day residual activity will protect crops all the way through harvest even from late-season, yield-robbing diseases to help maximize ROI.

“The multiple modes of action and three active ingredients in Forcivo fungicide will give growers peace of mind that it will control even tough diseases,” Eiberger said. “Additionally, the low use rate of 7 to 9 fluid ounces per acre will offer growers cost savings as well as easier handling, mixing and logistics when compared with others.”

Growers also will be able to take advantage of the upfront savings with the TruChoice® offer and save on their purchase of Forcivo fungicide by bundling it with other Corteva crop protection and seed products, such as herbicides, nitrogen stabilizers and Pioneer ® brand seed. With the TruChoice offer, farmers can save when funding a prepay account online or through a participating retailer.

Pending registration approvals, Forcivo fungicide will be available for growers to include in their 2026 disease management plans. To learn more about Forcivo fungicide, visit Corteva.us/Forcivo or contact your local Corteva representative.
